Electrification Rails provide power to palletized product as it travels on twin strand conveyors. The rails are set up with opposing pairs of brush contacts, with one side serving as a negative terminal and the other side serving as the positive terminal.

The spring-loaded copper alloy brush contact is mounted in a 2-piece plastic body. These spring-loaded contact brushes provide a constant electrical contact for electrical buss strips on the bottom of the pallets. The brush assemblies clip into the top of the slotted extrusion, which acts as a conduit for the rail’s wiring. The brush assembly pickup clip mates with a wired rail contact within the extrusion.

Installation and removal of the brush assembly is quick. By compressing 2 clips the contact lifts out; simply push into position to replace.
